We have been sailing since the summer of 1973 and have dreamed of owning our own boat on a lake. That dream became reality in September 2008. The move to South Carolina on Lake Murray in May 2008 was part of that dream. Buying a boat completes it. The boat selected is a Hunter 27. It is 27 feet long and weighs 8000 pounds. It will be docked at the marina just minutes from our front door in our neighborhood.
