On 2/1/2009 Infinity had an "equipment malfunction" (appropriately on Super Bowl Sunday) and the main halyard (the rope that holds up the sail) became loose and dropped the main sail onto the deck.  US SPARS (the mast manufacturer) sent Julian and his kids to make a repair visit.  The repair was a success and involved Julian going to the top of the 43 foot mast.  See the pics below.
