If you ever need a resort
recommendation in the Maldives, I can wholeheartedly recommend the
Hilton Iru Fushi (http://www1.hilton.com/en_US/hi/hotel/MLEIRHI-Hilton-Maldives-Iru-Fushi-Resort-Spa/index.do).
It did not disappoint. The water villa was great, the weather
perfect. The snorkeling was like getting plopped into an aquarium.
Then there was a week in Sri Lanka. Lots of interesting Buddhist
and Hindu sites, as well as interesting wildlife (elephants,
lizards, bats, monkeys). Naps almost every day, fresh fruit, and I
even read a book!! 2009
